Little Villains Rattery is run by Darcy Whittaker out of my home in Columbus, OH, with the assistance of Geoff Fields and the rapt attention of our son, Kieran Fields.

The rats are housed in various wire cages, from a Martin's RUUD cage to slightly smaller wire cages from other places.

They are bedded on Aspen shavings, due to the lack of phenols and good odor control, and have plenty of toys, hammocks, and other gizmos to keep them entertained.

They are fed a combination of Mazuri Rat Blocks, Reggie Rat mixed food, and various and sundry bits of leftover food and baby food, as well as some fresh produce.

We use spill proof glass water bottles, as they are easier to clean and less likely to be destroyed.

Our rats are handled frequently, and allowed out time in safe areas to play.
